Our Appeal

Kolkata Moms invite you to join hands with CRY (Child Rights and You) through the TSW25K platform to support a cause that truly transforms lives—the education and protection of young girls living in some of the most vulnerable pockets of our city.

In the Brace Bridge area, communities in Khal Bari, Loco Shed, and Brace Bridge survive in unrecognized slums, living in temporary hutments without land rights or access to basic necessities like clean water, sanitation, healthcare, and quality education.
Here, women and young girls bear the heaviest burdens, often working as domestic help at a very young age. Their dreams are overshadowed by daily struggles and the absence of safe spaces.

CRY is working tirelessly to change this reality.

Through targeted interventions, we aim to:

  • Ensure education for every girl child

  • Reduce vulnerabilities caused by unsafe living conditions

  • Create safer, child-friendly environments

  • Empower families to prioritize their daughters’ futures

Your support can help a girl step into a classroom instead of a life of labour.
Your contribution can give her safety, dignity, and the chance to dream beyond her circumstances.

As a mothers and a changemaker, your solidarity can spark the change these young girls deserve.

Let’s come together with us and uplift the daughters of Brace Bridge.

Support CRY through the TSW25K platform and help build a future where every girl can learn, grow, and thrive.

Together, we can rewrite their stories.
