About Us

Iswar Sankalpa is a not-for-profit organisation that began its humble journey in 2007 with a vision to ensure the dignity and holistic well-being of homeless persons with psychosocial disabilities. Since then, we've developed a gamut of services through 9 programmes in and around the city of Kolkata. Our services include both in-house and outreach services towards the homeless, where we provide both psychiatric medical treatment and capacity-building drives. Through our livelihood programmes, which include vocational training in art and craft and cafe training, we aim to build independent individuals who can live independently with financial freedom and dignity in the long run.

Our Appeal

Run for a Life Beyond the Streets
What if every step you take could help someone find their way home?
This marathon don’t just run for the finish line. Run for dignity, hope and a life beyond the streets.
Join Iswar Sankalpa and run for people experiencing homelessness and living with psychosocial disabilities—people who deserve not just care, but acceptance, opportunity, dignity and a chance to rebuild their lives.
Your run can help amplify a cause that is often unseen and unheard.
🏃 Run for inclusion.
🏃 Run for dignity.
🏃 Run for mental health.
🏃 Run for a community where no one is left behind.
Every kilometre can carry a message. Every runner can become an ally.
This time, lace up your shoes and Run for Iswar Sankalpa. Run for those who are finding their way back to life.
