AKB Memorial Trust is a Kolkata-based non-profit organisation founded in memory of Arun Kumar Bakshi and Kabyasree Bakshi, dedicated to serving individuals with neurodevelopmental and physical disabilities. Through its flagship unit, DWish, the Trust offers a special school namely URJA, multi-disciplinary therapy, vocational training,NIOS preparation for Persons with special needs, parental counselling and community awareness programmes, operating on a low-cost, inclusive model. Its governance involves a board of committed social activists and professionals, and its mission centres on enabling a life of dignity, productivity and inclusion for persons with special needs and their families.
