Shakti- for gender equality and against Human TraffickingÂ
Barasat Unnayan Prostuti (BUP) proposes a youth-led intervention model to address gender inequality and human trafficking in vulnerable communities.
The project aims to develop trained youth collectives who will act as community change agents, supporting access to government schemes, facilitating legal aid, responding to crises, and promoting awareness on rights and protection.
By strengthening youth leadership and fostering collaboration with local administration, the initiative seeks to create a sustainable, community-owned safety net system that addresses systemic gaps and empowers vulnerable populations.
