Established in 1991, Concern India Foundation is a registered non-profit public charitable trust dedicated to promoting developmental causes across India. For over 35 years, we have worked towards empowering disadvantaged communities through the principle of "helping people help themselves," enabling individuals and families to lead lives of dignity and self-reliance.
Concern provides both financial and non-financial support to grassroots NGOs working in the areas of education, healthcare, livelihood enhancement and community development. In addition, we implement several direct initiatives, including:

Over the years, our programmes have positively impacted more than 7.49 million marginalized individuals across 16 states in India, including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Odisha, Karnataka, Delhi, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Our beneficiaries include children, youth, women, persons with disabilities, senior citizens, farmers, weavers and other vulnerable communities in both rural and urban areas.
We firmly believe that disadvantaged communities need opportunities rather than charity. Our focus remains on supporting grassroots initiatives that create lasting change and empower people to build better futures for themselves and their families.
Every community deserves the opportunity to live a healthy, secure and dignified life. Access to quality education, healthcare, sustainable livelihoods and a healthy environment are deeply interconnected and together shape the ability of individuals and communities to build a better future.
Through your support, Concern India Foundation works with vulnerable communities across India to address these interconnected needs. Funds raised through the marathon will support programmes focused on education, health, environmental sustainability, community development and livelihoods.
This includes initiatives that help children and young people, including those from underserved communities and children with disabilities, access quality learning opportunities and build brighter futures. Support also contributes to healthcare initiatives, water conservation and watershed development, ecological restoration, renewable energy and sustainable livelihoods. These efforts help communities improve their well-being, protect and manage their natural resources, strengthen livelihoods and build greater resilience.
