A journalist by profession for almost 2 decades working for leading national news organisations in India. She also taught media subjects to undergraduate and post graduate students, been judge at school and college events to pass on her knowledge to the new generation.
I have been an animal lover since a child and had dogs and cats at home while growing up.
Speaking up for the voiceless including street dogs and abused animals in shelters is a small way in which I can make a difference to those animals that need some extra love and care.
There is a paucity for proper animal shelters and vet care and emergency services in our country
