About Me

Rakesh Mitra, a resilient individual and accomplished CFO, is a true testament to determination and strength. Having faced significant health challenges, Rakesh has embraced life with renewed vigour, channelling that same perseverance into both personal and professional pursuits. As the Chief Financial Officer at The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group, he has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, strategic insight, and the ability to navigate challenges with grace.

During the TSK 25 in its 9th edition, Rakesh Mitra had raised 7.5 lakhs and was the highest individual fundraiser, the funds were donated to the following:

Tata Memorial Hospital – 50k for the cause of Cancer Research and Treatment

Little Big Help – 4.40 Lacs – 17 Students from under privileged communities were skilled and are currently under training for before final industry placement.

YODA – 3,50 Lacs – As per MOU signed with Yoda they are setting up a facility of Mobile Medical Van cum Ambulance for the Strays in the city.

Our Appeal

At the outset my deepest gratitude to all the donors for your donation last year which has helped us to make a significant difference for the needy. I am sure every drop will help to make this a ‘’Better India’’.

As we sign off on a devastating 2025, we all can take comfort from the fact that “’we have made a difference’’. Now with renewed vigour, I approach each one of you to donate for the causes and once again make a meaningful difference.

1.Project -Integrated Edu Hub: School, Hostel and Training Centre for Inclusive Development

This is an initiative where in an integrated Centre catering having school, Hostel Facilities with Vocational Training with scope to be upgraded in Future to be set up. The school will initially have residential capacity of 60 students and a day scholar program for upto 140 students from classes 1-5.

A detailed concept note is provided in the link below. Am impact assessment study will be provided in a months’ time. The Project will be delivered in collaboration with New Light A NGO celebrating its 25 years and Little Big Help.

2. Project – A Care Facility for the Strays

A full fledged medical treatment and care facility to be set up with some of the renowned vets in the city of Kolkata. The facility will enable the complete ecosystem of feeders and caregivers in each area of the city to identify and treat the strays. Post treatment and care they will be rehabilitated into the society.

A detailed concept note is given in the link below and an impact assessment will be provided in months time. The project will be delivered in Collaboration with YODA and Animal Rescue and Care Kolkata.
