I am a specially-abled individual who believes in living life beyond limitations. As an above-knee amputee with 91% physical disability, I run on a prosthetic limb and have completed over 77 marathons across India, covering more than 4,500 km in various categories. Professionally, I bring over 12 years of experience and last worked as a CNC laser operator in the production department under the third-party payroll of Mohan Pandey, a manpower sourcing proprietorship. I am skilled in administrative functions, banking operations, storekeeping, and other allied responsibilities. I consider myself an athlete fueled by determination and passion, constantly striving to build a dignified and fulfilling life through hard work and commitment.
Support Uday Kumar’s Run for Kolkata Hunar on the TSW25K Philanthropic Platform
My name is Uday Kumar, and I am running the TSW25K not just as an athlete, but as someone who believes deeply in breaking barriers and uplifting lives. As an above-knee amputee with 91% disability, I have completed more than 77 marathons across India on a prosthetic limb — proving that determination can rewrite any story.
Today, I am running to rewrite the stories of others.
I am supporting Kolkata Hunar, an organization transforming the lives of children and women in the underserved communities of Beniapukur, Tiljala, and Topsia. Their two flagship initiatives need our collective support:
This beautiful learning space offers early education to children who otherwise have no access to safe classrooms or quality learning. Your contribution can help expand this school and bring hope to many more young lives.
Women like Shabnam, who once struggled silently, regained confidence and financial independence through Kolkata Hunar’s Beautician & Makeup Course. With your help, many more women can learn a skill, earn a dignified livelihood, and transform their families’ futures.
As I run the TSW25K, I invite you to run with me through your support.
Together, we can help children learn, women rise, and communities thrive.
Every contribution — big or small — becomes a step toward change.
Thank you for standing with me and Kolkata Hunar.
