Our Appeal

Udayan Shalini Fellowship

The Udayan Shalini Fellowship (USF) derives its name from the confluence of two Sanskrit words— ‘Udayan’ (eternal sunrise) and ‘Shalini’ (a dignified woman)—symbolizing a girl’s right to rise and lead a life of dignity.

USF is a flagship initiative of Udayan Care, committed to nurturing academic excellence and holistic development among underprivileged girls. The Fellowship is not just a scholarship—it is a long-term engagement that supports each girl for 5 to 6 years, until the completion of her higher education.
