About Us

The WE Foundation (TWF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to addressing critical challenges in maternal and child health, education, clean water, sanitation, poverty, women empowerment and climate action. Established in 2011, we aim to empower families and communities through innovative and sustainable solutions that create meaningful, long-term impact.

Recognized as one of India’s leading NGOs, we work with vulnerable primary school children and seek support from individual donors to help these children for a better future and dignified life. Our passionate team, with extensive experience in the development sector, tailor-made solutions to meet the unique needs of the communities we serve. Since 2019, we’ve achieved significant milestones in expanding our initiatives and fostering impactful partnerships. Our Appeal

Support The We Foundation: Transforming Lives, One Initiative at a Time

Your generosity can help us create a lasting impact through the following interventions:

Inclusive Education for underprivileged dyslexic children

Did you know that 1 in 10 children worldwide struggles with dyslexia, yet only a fraction receive the support they need? For underprivileged dyslexic students, the barriers to education are even greater. Your donation can help us provide inclusive education tailored to their unique learning needs, ensuring they don’t fall through the cracks.

Along with personalized learning, we offer nutritious snacks to combat malnutrition and conduct regular growth monitoring to ensure their holistic development. Together, we can give these children the tools to thrive academically and personally. Every contribution transforms a life—be the reason a child overcomes challenges and reaches their potential.

Lifelines of Hope: Saving Mothers and Children in Crisis

In the aftermath of disasters, vulnerable lives hang in the balance. Every year, over 12 million children under five and 800,000 pregnant women in disaster-affected regions face life-threatening risks like malnutrition and preventable diseases. Our health camps and mobile health units bring hope to these remote communities by delivering vital care: screening 10,000 individuals annually, providing 1,500 free doctor consultations, and distributing over 5,000 essential medications.

Your support can save lives and ensure no mother or child is left behind. Together, we can be the bridge between despair and recovery.

Environmental Sustainability

Every year, our cities lose countless trees to urbanization, leaving us with polluted air and depleting green cover. A single tree can absorb 22 kilograms of CO₂ annually and provide oxygen for two people—but imagine the impact of 50,000 trees!

Together, we can remove 1,100 tons of CO₂ every year and give 100,000 people the gift of clean air and life. This isn’t just about planting trees; it’s about hope, healing, and leaving a legacy of a healthier planet. Plant a tree in your name today and be the reason future generations breathe freely in greener, thriving cities.

Together, we can create a better tomorrow. Support The We Foundation and be part of a movement that transforms lives.

Our Projects

Help us raise funds for our specific needs.

Project Name Project Description Donate
General Camp for Mothers and Children The We Foundation is organizing free health checkup camps for disaster relief in the Sundarban region, targeting women and children affected by Cyclone Remal. We aim to conduct 133 camps, including 109 in Gosaba, 20 in Pathar Pratima, and 4 in Namkhana. Services include health assessments, immunizations, and health education on nutrition and hygiene. Despite challenges, we are committed to improving health outcomes and building community resilience.
: Health and Nutrition for Children with Dyslexia Children with dyslexia face challenges beyond academics, impacting their health and nutrition. Our program supports them through tailored nutrition plans, regular health screenings to address issues like vision or hearing problems, and access to specialized services such as occupational and speech therapy. We also provide parent workshops on nutrition and strategies to support their well-being. Together, we can create a nurturing environment that fosters their growth and learning potential.
Support Menstrual Health and Hygiene Menstrual health is vital for the well-being and empowerment of women and girls, yet many face stigma and lack access to proper care. Without sanitary products, education, and clean facilities, they often miss school or work, face health risks, and endure shame. We aim to change this by providing access to sanitary products, menstrual health education, and clean sanitation facilities. By supporting girls\' education and reducing absenteeism, we empower them to reach their full potential.
Renewable Energy Access Our goal is to ensure access to clean, affordable energy to support sustainable development in agriculture, business, education, and healthcare. We focus on promoting renewable energy in off-grid areas, implementing energy efficiency programs, offering training on renewable technologies, and deploying decentralized solutions tailored to local needs. By collaborating with stakeholders and raising awareness through media, we aim to drive sustainable practices and improve energy access for all.
Tree Plantation Initiative Our goal is to restore green spaces, enhance biodiversity, and combat climate change through tree planting. We focus on planting native trees that support local ecosystems and improve soil health, while engaging communities through workshops on sustainable practices. By restoring deforested areas and promoting tree planting as a key strategy for carbon absorption, we aim to fight climate change. We also ensure long-term impact through maintenance programs for the trees we plant.
