About Us

Matilal Bharat Tirtha Seba Mission Ashram is an age – old organization. Founded in the year 2002 , it is still working in various areas to stand by humanity. At present, we are focusing on the Tribal and Sabar Development Programme .” Education , awareness , Health , Food, Women Empowerment, and Restoration of Cultural”.Matilal Bharat Tirtha Seba Mission Ashram has crossed a long way with its charitable works. Founded in the year 2002, our organization aimed to stand by humanity by providing all the basic needs of livelihood.

At present we have been working in Sunderban and Purulia in the following ways:

1. Education (primary educational center )

2. Health and hygiene (child and women)

3. General awareness including swatch Bharat Avigyan.

4. Eye and health camp.

5. Natural calamities (Amphan , Covid crossed , Yaash)

6. Vocational training camps (jewellery , badhni , mushroom )

7. Restoration of culture (Lokkho konthe Gita Path)

Our Appeal

Purulia and Sundarban is the homeland of Tribal and Sabar families. This section is the most neglected part of society. Our organization aims to bring this section of the society to light. Every individual has the right to proper living and livelihood and our organization is trying our best to uplift these families.
We have been successful in setting up two educational centers ( Vedanta Vidyashram ) to provide primary education to the Tribal and Sabar kids. We are also trying out various initiatives for awareness programmes, food, health programmes and women empowerment programmes. But for the smooth running of these programmes, a continuous flow of funds is essential. About fifty lakhs ( 500000 .00 )is needed for setting up the infrastructure of Vedanta Vidyashram and also for smooth running of the Tribal activities. We pray and request for collective support from all.
